LensAR™ (LensAR, Inc., Orlando, Florida) is the leader in the next phase of advanced femtosecond laser technology for refractive cataract surgery. LensAR's proprietary, high-resolution imaging system produces a high contrast, low noise image of the anterior eye in a single scan unlike OCT, which stitches together single-plane images. Ray tracing is then used to create a three-dimensional reconstruction of the anterior eye in its entirety.
The 3D-Imaging, Measurement, and Guidance system visualizes and characterizes the anterior and posterior surfaces of the crystalline lens. This feature, which is unique to the LensAR Laser System™, allows for the actual correction of lens tilt and allows different centration options during treatment, facilitating precise, automated, accurate surgery and reliable outcomes.
